I would call the office if you are having trouble believing this...this special is due to expire at the end of April

Shouldn't we also get this incentive? That;s a LOT of money!!! Why should we be beaten just because we trusted them earlier????

because you got in at a much lower price... lower price effect on monthly payments = permanent. Maintenance payment holiday = temporary... which would you prefer??

I don't think this could be true unless Toll will be fronting your tab. It wouldn't make sense that either the people who purchased early would carry your payments until that date expires and it wouldn't make sense that the buildings escrow account would take a hit for Toll's promotion.

If it is true then which sales rep gave you this offer? I will call to get the facts.

Talk to Peter at the Toll Office to confirm. He is the rep who gave my friend the information on the free maintenance.

It is pretty logical though...Toll is using this to bring in more buyers without lowering condo prices...this basically equals out with anyone who bought in early with a substantially lower condo price but makes the monthly maintenance payments.

Approx main of 500 X 24 months = 12k. Hardly an "equalling out" given that prices were about 75k lower 1 year ago.

If it is free maint for 2 years then it is what it is. People like the one above me are just nervous wrecks and need to stop worrying and complaining.

I guess I'm a little confused about this. Is Toll going to foot the maintenance fee for these people for two years? What value is gained to the association if owners are not contributing? In essence, some owners will be carrying the cost of others without any consideration.
