Review - We've eaten at Augustino's many times. From our first visit, Sharon made us feel like family, and ever since it's been a favorite stop for great Italian home-cook'n. Chicken parm is our usual favorite (you can't go wrong!) but the veal chop is always great, as well as the sole. Overall great ambiance, service and exceptional food. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Hoboken. Reservations a must.

Review - The best Italian restaurant in Hoboken... possibly the best restaurant in Hoboken, period. One of the few restaurants that requires a reservation, but it is well worth it. The service is wonderful and the entree specials are to die for. We will go back again and again.

Review - The food is unbelievable (highly recommend the Carbonara) and the atmosphere it perfect! A small, homey Italian restaurant. But the best part about this restaurant, by far, is the service. From the first time I dined there, Sharon and Buddy have always made me feel like a long-time customer and friend. What some may see as rude service (Christy) is actually efficient, fun and friendly service. Of course you need a reservation at this place; there are only what, 10 tables? And I suggest making the reservation well in advance. It is well worth it! Best dining experience ever!

Review - Went to this restaurant last night with high hopes. It is my belief that this place is seriously overrated. Service was terrible. Friendly and outgoing, but we had too wait to long to get our menus, get water, order, and get the check. Appetizers were just okay, nothing great. Calamari was well cooked and very tender. Fried shrimp were tastless and drowned in a mediocre red sauce, and clams were fishy. Pasta entrees were fresh and tasty, but some were salty and oily, completely overwhelmed by their condiment. An overdose of proscuitto totally ruined one dish. Pork chops were dry, steak was just okay. Dessert was not very memorable. Overall, a decent home-cooking italian restaurant, but not much beyond that.

Review - I had won a gift certificate at an auction and had never been here before. Everything was excellent, I felt like I knew Sharon for years. Service and atmosphere were very good however reservations do need to be made (which is usually the case with a good restaurant). I loved it and will go back again and again.
