Review - hey,
i'm so glad i found this place
i went to get my hair thermal straightened , they use
the BIO IONIC system it turned out silky smooth & straight
i can finally say I Love my hair . p.s cut she gave was awesome too!!!

Review - It has taken me such a long time to find someone who can do my hair well. Over the years, I've been to almost every salon in Hoboken as well as many big names in the city. Thank God! I've finally found someone that is really great. Mel is the most talented stylist I have ever seen. I've been to see her for my haircut & highlights 3 times now & have never been happier. I get compliments on my hair all the time now. This never happened to me before. She really knows her stuff. If you want to stop searching for the perfect hairdresser, look no further. Go see Mel at Make Overs. She is the Best!

Review - I've been to Makeovers twice for a haircut. The first time I got one of the girls (withholding name) and she was really sweet but she pretty much did what she wanted to with my hair and cut it shorter than I preferred. The second time i went I got Jason. He was very attentive, he did exactly what I wanted him to do, not what he thought would look best. I just cant stand how everyone follows you around the store when you go there just to shop, like you're going to steal something.

Review - After reading the previous excellent reviews I decided to give Makeovers a go. I was looking for a trim and a blow dry. Jason was appointed for the job and he did exactly what I asked for. I left Makeovers Inc. feeling like a million dollars and it was great value for money. I highly recommend Jason and will be back.

Review - Rachel is Fabulous! I have been paying over $90 for haircuts in Hoboken for the past 6 years. While the head massages and wine in these swanky salons is nice, I was still never happy with the haircuts I was recieving- it was as if everyone who entered left with the same do regardless of what you requested. Fed up, I headed to Makeovers for a final attempt at a new style- it was a SUCCESS. Rachel gave me the most professional, stylish, and up to date haircut I have had in years. She was quick and professional and even gave me great time conserving styling tips. For the first time in my life when I style my hair now it actually looks the same as it did when I walked out of the salon! I will definitely be a long time returning customer!

Review - Rachel is the only person to go to for blonde hi-lites and a terrific cut. This young lady is so talented. She is also very personable and a pleasure to have work on you, well mannered and very sweet. My hair has never looked better, and I tell all my friends and family. Rachel, you have a terrific future ahead of you, your family should be proud.

Review - Rachel is amazing! Finally someone who understands when I say I do not want any gold in my blonde hair. The cut is awesome too. I always get compliments on my hair now that Rachel is doing it.

Review - The people are really nice and really helpful and they don't push products or styles on you or try to get you to cut your long hair! Plus, you can walk in and get service, which is wonderful. Only qualm I have is no colorist in Hoboken seems to understand what my old NYC colorist did--that if you keep putting color on the whole head you get that awful faded line at the part!
