Review - I have been going to Bangz for a long time. I have always paid $14.00 for a haircut. Today I was charged $20.00. I asked if the price went up and the reply was that it is after 3 o'clock. WTF! So. it cost more to cut hair after 3pm??

Review - I started going to Bangz about 1 1/2 years ago on recommendations from both my brother and a good friend. I have to say I Love it there. Nellie is the one that always cuts my hair. She does impeccable work. I highly recommend Bangz, and specifically Nellie.

Review - I moved to Hoboken and didn't mind spending the money on a full highlight. I have never had a worse job done and i had to go the following week to another salon to correct it. It was so unnatural and the worst blond color to compliment my brown hair--

Review - When I first started going here, I was satisfied, perhaps because the last haircut I got before going to Bangz was a disaster and the cut left with was an improvement. But after a while, it apparently became difficult to get across what I wanted--even when I finally came in with pictures that I drew myself. Needless to say, when I got home I was as confused by the haircut I just got, because it was very choppy in the back, and didn't look like what I took the time to draw. Because I was so explicit, I wondered, maybe she had a bad day, or maybe she doesn't like listening to what clients have to say, or follow through with what they want. Big red X for that. Haircutting is part craft, and part customer service, so without that, artistry and talent mean nothing. Who wants to be stuck with a haircut they don't like?

Review - I had an excellent experience at this salon yesterday. I wanted to change hairdressers, as trekking home to my stylist on Eastern LI was a headache and hard to schedule for a Saturday. I checked out salons and found a few good reviews for Juan. I made an appointment, and was very happy with the cut I got (med hair, long layers - hadn't had a haircut in almost 3 months!) Price for cut/style/blow dry was decent and not overpriced. I might even get my highlights done by Juan as I am pretty happy with how good my hair looks.

Review - It's not possible to please 100% of the people 100% of the time. But, I've been going to Maribel at Bangz Salon for years. She does excellent color, cutting and blowouts. I've recommneded her to many of my friends and they've all be satisfied as well. Can't speak for the rest of the stylist.
