Review - This place is a chain. There is a bunch of them in NYC. I like to think of it as a Chinese/Mexican place in that it is typically run by Chinese folks. It is cheap mexican food that on average is good. The guacamole is not the best. But the Quesadillas and the Tortillas are great. The chips are great as well. You should not expect top quality, awesome mexican here, but, for the price, it is good.

Review - Don't buy into the snobby reviews you may read about this restaurant. IT IS TAKOUT!!! You won't go there to eat there. Since we don't have Taco-Bell this is the next best. The Taco Locals are very good. Yea you may order by number, but what difference is that than McDonalds? Get it delivered when you need something to eat and want something different than Chinese. Don't expect Charritos or Baja food... expect taco bell. Order the L3, L5 and get a side of sour cream... and you won't be dissapointed.

Review - Just a response to the review the below. The place is a take out place, what do these people expect the Mesa Grill?! The food is very good for takeout mexican. Definately a good alternative to Qdoba, if you want a delivery.

Review - This place had AWFUL food. It dioesn't just look like a Chinese place that started serving Mexican; it tastes like it. We tried a whole bunch of things and it was all terrible. The chicken was inedible. If you want delivery, get Qdoba. It's much better and just as fast.

Review - Not the type of place that makes you want to spend a lot of time there, but by far Hoboken's best Mexican take out/delivery. It's cheap, the menu is expansive and everything I've ever tried is terrific. The delivery is incredibly fast and the food is always warm when it arrives. Top notch!

Review - We made the mistake of stopping by the Fresh Totilla Grill for anything BUT fresh mexcian cuisine! The menu had many entrees that looked appealing; however, do not be misled.
Firstly, upon entering the restaurant one cannot help but feel as if just 1 week ago, this was a fast food chinese restaurant that was suddenly transformed into a mexican restaurant. Secondly, we should have had an indication of the quality of food when the menu reads order by number, just another similarity to a chinese restaurant. Thirdly, the food was HORRIBLE! We ordered a Guacamole Quesadilla to begin with. That consisted of 2 cold tortilla shells with cheese that was NOT melted and some sort of green dressing that was suppose to have been guacomole. It resembled more of that baby food you see in a jar - like mashed peas. The Quesdadillas were horrible. On to the entrees... My entree was cheese enchilladas (with rice, guacomole, and refried beans) which consisted of melted cheese in a corn tortilla - - no seasoning, no vegetables, and about 2 tablespoon-fuls of grease. The refried beans were charred black & dry. The rice was OK. My boyfriend's entree was supposedly a chicken burrito which he said was horrible.
