Review - Tonic is the new hot spot in Hoboken. Everyone should check it out because it is exactly what Hoboken was missing. It has the feel of a local bar where you can hang out and watch the games, couches to lounge on, and a dance floor with great music to dance to. The bartenders are all very accomodating and great with service. The two owners are also very accomodating and always seem to be around to answer any questions or help out with any problems. I cannot wait until football season when they offer the DirectTV NFL package and offer food to its customers. I would say best of luck to Tonic but luck is the last thing they'll need.

Review - Tonic is exactely what Hoboken was missing. They have that great mix from a bar where you can watch the games on the plasma's or just chill on the couches in the back.

Review - I dont know about the person who said there are 6 people in the bar?? Saturday nights are PACKED. People wait outside to get in. Everyone who works there is awesome. Yes they are young, but I'd rather be helped by someone more like me than my parents. Still they are all very accomodating. Everyones gotta start somewhere and they have a good thing going on.

Review - I think this place is great! It's the perfect mix of everything; not too loungy, not too clubby, not too pubbish. They make awesome martinis too! Fridays and Saturdays are crowded so sip your drink before you start walking!

Review - So, do we hate on the new bar that everyone is going to? Mostly everyone's comments are about the owners, the bartenders, the service, etc. All the negativity, but yet their packed every Friday and Saturday night. Hmm, strange huh?

Wake up Hoboken. Don't hate the new sheriffs in town. This place is hot. The music is hot. Better then seeing the same guidos out everywhere else. At least its not 50 guys who all bought the same XS t-shirt and don't know how to dance. This place is real. Give it time and let the money keep flowing in.

Review - Here is a place that had great potential. An upscale bar that was not to clubby or loungey but wasn't your average Hoboken Irish Bar. A perfect place to host a Halloween Party and an opportunity to introduce a new establishment to a young and outgoing, Hoboken crowd... Unfortunately Tonic blew their opportunity and decided to get GREEDY. After we had planned this event for over a month and communicated to the owners we had over 120 people coming, they still booked another party on top of ours. On top of that their friends leached off our party and ate our food. I also forgot to mention that there was only one bartendar for the first hour of the open bar. Not good business since we had almost 80 people show up at 8:00. There was also the issue of music. The DJ didn't show up until 11:00. 11:00! I should have just invited everyone to my place and plugged my Ipod to my speakers. Overall everyone had a good time but that was created by the hosts, not the owners. I sure Tonic will do well but you guys have a lot of to learn on how to run a bar.

Review - I went to Tonic a few weeks ago and had an amazing time. Good mix of people, great drinks, and a chill atmosphere. After having a few drinks make sure you watch where you are walking....the tables tend to jump infront of you ;)
....not to mention the really sexy owner

Review - Its so obvious the staff and owners are writing their own reviews..... oh and the bartenders are clueless..they must be friends of the owners. they had 6 of them back there on one night and they couldnt make a cup of water properly....worst

Review - A friend and I stopped in while my clothes were drying at the laundro-mat just a down the block. Very nice bartenders, the place wasn't even open yet but they let us in while they were setting up. Apparently Tonic is going to start offering Monday Night football. I'll probably check it out because it is within stumbling distance of my apartment.

Review - Tonic is a good time. Good atmosphere, good service, and good location. The only problem is the two greaseballs that own it...but they are easy enough to ignore.

Just kidding about the owners. The place is great and they're both very nice and easy to talk to. I like the taller one the best. He has a pretty mouth....

Review - You're crazy... I live right down the street and walk by it every night. No exaggeration, there are literally the same 6 people in there all the time, and I'm guessing half of them are the owners. There is nothing new in this scene, it's the same as everything else in town.
