Review - I eat at Helen's 3-5 a week and their food is great. I love the grilled chicken and their calzones which i believe are huge. I try to eat something different every time I go there and I have no complaints with their service. Their pizza is truly the best in Jersey City. I have tried some other places in Journal Square and there really is a difference. My favorite special is their Chicken Fantacy. I also love the layout of their pizza during lunch. It gives a lot of options to their customers.

Review - They are simply the best.
Im already missing this great taste of hot wings and my favorite cheese steak sandwich.
im starving for good pizza here in Riverside California...

Review - Great eggplant parmesian dinners - also some good slices - particularly the red pizza w/mozzarella and a touch of pesto- great buffalo wings also

Review - I typically eat from Helen's at least once a week. Good stuff: You can order online from their reasonably fast and complete menu. Their quantities are good, and they have absolutely HUGE salads. Pizza is a bit chewy (thin crust is crisper but doesn't hold up to extra cheese or multiple toppings very well) and their pizza sauce is on the bland side; I regularly add a little oregano and parmesan to every pizza I order. (Helen's would do well to change their pizza sauce to something a little more flavorful.) Chicken fingers are tasty but nothing terribly unique; honey-mustard sauce is more sweet than spicy. Avoid the fried chicken which is tasty but VERY greasy. Service is second to none; deliveries rarely take longer than 25 minutes and the delivery guys are friendly and professional.

Review - Helen's has been around forever it seems. Their pies are very standard... bland dough = bland crust, zero flavor sauce, too much cheese and undercooked toppings.!
However where they do excel... subs & salads! Probably their finest On-Menu sub is the chicken breast w/fresh mozz & plum tomatoes. Grilled with a nice splash of balsamic vinegar... very tasty on a nice, chewy hard roll. 1 Thumbs Up!
Also their Greek & Caesar salads are very nice and extremely generous too!
Maybe they should rename the joint to Helen's Subs & Salads?? Bottom line is this... their pizza is the Pits while their subs and salads are the Tops!!

Review - I'v been going to Helens ever since i was a little girl. The food is excellent and the service is even better. They make very good grilled chicken sandwiches. The pizza is also good. 2 thumbs up

Review - Blandest sauce on the east coast. It tasted like ketchup on white bread. Helen should kick it up a notch.

Review - Its sad that this is the best place for pizza in Jersey City.
To get really good pizza you should take the Path to Manhattan.
