Review - Ibby's food is okay to good but definitely not more than that. The only thing that is very good is the lentil soup. The Tahini sauce and the Baba Ghanoush are also good.
The green salad is poor. The Tabouleh salad is bland. There is no vegetables salad (tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper etc cut to small pieces) as in most Middle Eastern joints. The fact that they don't use fresh lemon is a minus and the olive oil is tasteless. The falafel is mediocre. The Pita bread is too thin - second grade bread. At Ibby’s they cut and remove too much of the top of the Pita bread so that the size left for filling is very small.
The grilled chicken skewers in Pita bread with addition of salads & Tahiti is the best dish.
The service is fast but somewhat ignorant, definitely far from being very polite. Our attempts to complement and develop a conversation were ignored - maybe Ibby(?) is too shy.
Overall - it is good that Ibby's is there in Jersey City to feed the hungry with a cheap and refreshing Middle Easter fair that, to my palate is the best fast-food that exists, but at Ibby's the intensity of the flavors has quite diminished on the way from Damascus to Jersey City. It is an acceptable reminder of the good real stuff.

Review - Great falafal. If you like Mamouns on Bleeker -- this is very similar. My experience with service was poor(I ordered 2 sandwiches, he misunderstood and made 4, and then told me I had no choice but to buy all 4), but the falafal was so damn good that I'm going back anyways.

Review - It's always so hard to find a good middle eastern place where the falafel tastes like falafel. Thank god for Ibby's! I now have a place where I could eat at everyday and not get sick of the food. The people that work there are so helpful and the nicest people I've seen since I moved to Jersey City. My favorite sandwhich is the chicken kebab with baba ganoush. And when I'm not in the mood for a sandwhich I just get a side of the baba ganoush with pita bread and dig in. Thanks Ibby's for making the best food I've had in a long time!

Review - I was very surprised when I walked into Ibby's. Besides the fact that the food was amazing but the service was great. There is a wide variety of food to choose from which could keep you there for hours because everything looks so good. The falafel was the best that I've had in years which keeps me coming back to Ibby's.

Review - I the food at Ibby's is so great especially for the fact that it's right near the path train so I could grab a sandwhich before and after work. The service there is so fast and friendly that it amazes me. Not only are the sandwhichs good but the desserts are to die for. My favorite of course being the bakalava. I highly reccomend this place to everyone in Jersey City! Keep up the good work Ibby's!

Review - We've lived on Grove Street now for 8 years and have eaten at Ibby's numerous times.
Overpriced first of all... they charge .50 cents to put a teaspoon full of Fava beans on your sandwich.
The 3 times we've ordered anything with Chicken it was undercooked.
Falafel is good but from a mix so we could basically make it at home. Also, the Humous is from a mix and they use Real Lemon reconstituted lemon juice... why?!?! Heartburn city!!

Salads are good but pricey too.
Sadly this is all we've got in our area for Middle Eastern so we occasionally bite the bullet and buy a Falafel or salad otherwise I wouldn't bother.
Mediocre food at best and definitely NOT authentic,

Review - One of the many reasons why I love Ibby's Falafel is the fact that they deliver and it's opened late. My second is the fact that the food is so amazing that a day can't go by without me thinking about the sharama sandwich. It's tastes like a little piece of heaven. To go with it I'll get a cup of there delicious lentil soup and top it off with a can of mango juice. My third reason why I love Ibby's so much is the fact that's it's one of the few places where the service is so fast and extremely friendly that I was shocked the first time I went in there. My advice to you is when in your Jersey City and you want to eat something different go to Ibby's!
