Review - I own serveral units and have dealt with serveral different management companies. As far as managing your condo building I find that Jasco does a great job. Their property manager is very attentive and gets the job done. They are also as far as I am concerned one of the best management companies around.

Review - Jasco Management is by far one of the worst places to rent an aparentment in Jersey City. I was living in an apartment on 68 Magnolia Ave, which is owned by Jasco Management. I had several cases of leaking in the ceiling. I called Jasco, representive answered the phone and said she will dispached the super. He never showed up. I called for a week straight no response. Apparently, they employed a super who doesn’t speak English. I had hard time communicating with him. I show him the problem, he tried to fix it. He doesn’t seem to have any training on ceiling. I felt irritating because, I don’t want this guy to loose his job. I learned one thing to get the job done call your local city inspection department. They send a professional to fix the job.

Review - I am a single parent who lives in a one bedroom apt. with my 4 1/2 yr. old daughter. I never thought that anyone else had the same problems as have in my apartment, I thought it was me. But after reading all of these comments about Jasco I haven't been a happy tenant. As for everyone else I work my but off to pay my bills and especially the rent. But seems when I have a complaint about the infestation of roaches in my apartment and the Kitchen seiling falling down because of the rain. They never seem to return my calls. And takes about 2 weeks to just patch it up, knowing that if it rains tomorrow the SEILING is down AGAIN. I feel as though they need to improvement the customer service and maintence within there company because its suck.

Review - They claimed thousands and thousands of dollars in the budget for 'landscaping' but they only paid for someone to mow the tiny lawn.

Review - What I have to say reflects much of the what's in these other reviews. I own a condo with them, and in the two months I've been here, they never return calls. The super doesn't return calls either. I am at the point of threatening legal action over a repair of something that they themselves broke. Tonight it's 40 degrees out and I have no heat-- where's my several-hundred-dollar maintenance fee going? I love the apartment itself, but this management company is atrocious, and that's being kind.

Review - Repairs are not acknowledged until legal action is threatened. The one year plus at Jasco has been a living Hell. The one fortunate aspect was the Super, who was an honest and likeable guy.

Review - Jasco advertised an ‘Open House’ at 107 Kensington between 11am - 3pm. I showed up at 12:15 and there was no one there, no note on the door saying the hostess was going to be late or the showing was re-scheduled for another day. The super’s wife (though very nice) was mopping the lobby and kept saying she didn’t speak English.

I’ve looked at other Jasco properties and the hostess was clearly under dressed and what clothing she was wearing she was clearly stuffed into and overflowing out of, it was simply embarrassing.

Review - They are very pushy, do not fix anything just patch things up. They never get back to you when called. They lie to you.
They inflate the price of the condos. They show little respect to you.

Review - Jasco Management & the Weingartens have a tendency of imposing heavy assesment fees on some of the properties they manage. This is not a good thing to do. They make sure that they have the majority vote on the so called Board of Trustees so that whatever decision they decide to pull goes thru unopposed since they occupy more seats. . If you would read thru Jasco's By-Laws, it's all to their own interest, advantage & protection. Be aware of all those names like Kensington Court Association or 107 Kensington Condo Association & other names - in simple language this is JASCO MANAGEMENT - don't be confused by all these names they call themselves.
Customer Service is just the worst. All you get is that rude phrase, ... You have to talk to Jeff - I'll have him call you back. And that's the end of it - no call back.
Can anybody advise on what to do?????????

Review - The general consensus in our building is that the management company sucks. Maintenance takes an eternity to complete repairs and they're done poorly. Rather than replace something that is broken beyond repair, they'll glue it, tape it, nail it, do what ever it takes to quiet the unhappy tenant for the short term. After years of having used this strategy, everything in the building is falling apart. . In our building where 1br apts are selling for $150K, there was no a/c for Christmas 2003, there's often no hot water and sometimes no water at all, elevators usually don't work properly. Rather than permanently fix these things that matter, the management company has resurfaced the interior of the malfunctioning elevators, replaced working washers and driers with prettier ones, and repaved the driveway and parking lot so everything LOOKS pretty - it just doesn't work. Jasco is mostly unresponsive (there was a regional managment rep. named Kerry there who did a great job for the short time she stayed with the company, but she's gone and response time sucks again).

Review - Worst service and maintenance one could possily offer. The service dept. never return your calls and you will have to call the super 100 times to have a little thing fixed.

It took them 6 months to fix the fan in the bathroom.

Review - The reps at the management co never return phone calls. i've been trying for a year and a half to get a parking spot that was supposed to be offered with the apt and I get nothing but a run around.
On a good note, the super of the building is outstanding and a great guy.
