Review - I have been living there for 2 years and the rents keep rising every year without any noticeable building improvements.

The one highlight for me is its close proximity to the PATH.

One reviewer mentioned cold showers on lower floors. Well, if you live on the higher floors (like I do), it's the opposite. You can suddenly get boiling hot water scorching you if your neighbor decides to shower at the same time.

I don't have any major problems with pet owners though I do know of one inconsiderate pet owner who barely bothers to control her dogs. I suppose inconsiderate pet owners exist everywhere. It just depends how the building management deals with the problem.

Its closeness to the PATH is its one, major advantage. But the rents are getting ridiculously high. A studio can go for $1200 and up now. The saddest part is there are actually people willing to pay this amount.

Review - I've lived at MT for the past four years. The advantages are definitely proximity to the PATH, lightrail and buses, shopping, and on site parking, ie. if you can get it. However, luxury it isn't! Overall, some of the maintenance staff could be helpful, but sometimes getting them into your apartment can prove to be a hassle because of tardy management. Glaring Negatives: unenforced rules about cleaning up after pets and keeping balconies free from clutter. If building were maintained well, one wouldn't mind paying a bit extra, but the market rents take precedence over promised luxury.

Review - I have been living here for 3 years. I had a studio for 1 year and then moved into a large 1 bedroom with balcony and dishwasher.

Very close to PATH, I don't recommend to be too close to Marin blvd since the Fire truck route is right there. You get used to it. I recommend building 2 since it is the farthest from the street. If you have a dog, the large grass area is very convenient since it is surrronded by a fence.
Large windows make the apartment very bright even on the North side.

There is a 24h security but a few vehicules have been stolen from the lot. (go figure!)

Many people who live in the building like to throw foods from their balcony to feed the pigeons and the rats. Also some dog owners let their dogs do their business on the balcony and every now and then they clean up by throwing the feces on the ground below. You will be lucky is you don't see roaches or mice in your apartment.

If you live on a low floor you should not have cold showers in the morning, if you are higher, that is a different story.

Reason why I stay here? Cheap, spacious.

By the way, they will probably tell you that there is a pool. In fact there is one, it's just not operational. The building is vacant!!!

Review - it's definitely NOT CHEAP...it's $150 just to park your car, and it's not even guaranteed to be safe there either.

the managment is awful...maintence has access to all the units and one time, they left my apt. door wide open.

the good points are it is cheaper than newport...but then again, you're not exactly in newport...but, still too pricey for the area...and beware, they charge differently for the same units,, don't know why.

it is very close to the path station...but they really shouldn't be calling the place 'luxury'...bc there's NOTHING luxury about it.
