Review - I had the Scallion Pancake for the appetizer and Pad Thai w/ shrimp and it was excellent! Better than expected. The staff was pleasant, food served in a timely manner; overall excellent. Would go there again!

Review - I really like this place, it has a good vibe and a playful (it works) interior. The food is way above your standard Chinese fare, great variety, prepared with care and very nice presentation as well. The music is generally a pleasant surprise... it is as if the owner was a closet DJ.

Review - the roast pork bun and a few dim sum dishes were, to my surprise, execellent. this place is not your typical chinese take-out. it is beautiful on the inside. the chefs take great care with food presentation. although the price is steeper than chinatown, i'm perfectly happy to pay a little more for the real soup dumplings with thin wonton skin in the neighborhood. they don't have lunch specials on sundays, which kind of sucks.

Review - i went to this place when it had just opened, and was completely blown away by the beauty of the restaurant and the amazing food. however, the menu selections have been cut drastically -- there used to be at least twice as many dishes on the menu. also, the portions seem to be getting smaller. so now my feelings towards confucius are rather mixed. i'll probably eat there again...the decor alone makes it worthwhile.

Review - This is a class act. The food was very good and the tableware was lovely. The design of the restaurant is much nicer than what you would expect to find at Newport. Two winning dishes were a coconut cream chicken soup and the crispy boneless duck. Prices may seem a little higher than other Chinese places, but this is not your typical Chinese resto. Even the jackets that the waiters wear are goodlooking, I would probably buy one if they were for sale at the register. I plan to go back soon to try the dim sum.

Review - Ok. This is the only Chinese place I would give a 50/50 on all categories. I would definately eat-in here. The environment is totally trendy & makes for a great date place. The food is excellent!

Review - 7 of us had gone to this restaurant for one of my co-worker's birthday. Both veg and non-veg dishes were very good. So, was the dessert. The ambiance and the service were pretty good too. I am really glad that I found a good Chinese restaurant in this neighborhood. I would looove to go again.

Review - This is a nice chinese restaurant. Definitely a step up from the hole in the wall take out places. I used to really like the spare ribs until I received 2 consecutive orders where they looked like jerky. I can't order those anymore unfortunately, they used to be great. The other food there is fairly good such as the duck, mango dish, nutty chicken, etc. All in all it's not a bad place. I think they are trying to make the look and feel more upscale than the food itself.

Review - Dim Sum was good I must say. Lobster was a joke and the Rib Eye was overcooked. I was very displeased with the food. I'd rather go to Chinatown! $55 bucks for Chinese food is absurd!
