Review - A true neighborhood bakery! Great Italian crunchy round loaves, semolina, wholewheat and super daily specials. The different types of pizzas are fabulous. If you are lucky - you will catch one of the sweet days they do cookies. Holidays always get extra attention, with many special & traditional items. It is great to know the person that is baking your food. (Closed on Mondays.)

Review - Absolutely the very best bakery/product/service provided in Jersey City. Second to NONE at all. I truly advise anyone who would like to taste AUTHENTIC baked italian goods to try this one. As I had my family visit(out of state) a few years ago they were amazed, bought about 50.00 worth of stuff to bring back with them and freeze!!!!Try the stuffed breads-OMG-my mouth is watering!

Review - I cannot believe I just found this gem a few months ago. This place will make you an bread addict, esp. the Italian sausage bread. They use a real brick oven to bake their wonderful breads and the owners are so friendly. I hope they never go out of business.

Review - Growing up spoiled on quality Italian/French breads from North Newark (it's the water) from such places as Calandra's & De Paulo Bros., definitely bookmark Pecoraro for on-premise baking - it's worth a trip. If anyone knows what film was shot using their storefront a few months back (summer 2005) I'd be curious to find out.
