Review - Love the cozy bar area. They switch up their wines in the store every few weeks, so theres always something new to try. Most wines are decently priced.

Review - usually, when most owners open a restaurant, they dont advertise until everything is in place....including menu and inventory of the prodect. why get people in your door when staff and inventory isnt 100%.
just a thought.

Review - I'm still undecided on Majestic Liquors' appearance; the pretentious nature of designing your liquor store to look like one of SoHo's trendy art galleries is awful. To owner: Do you know that you're in Jersey City? I'm not saying it should look like a bodega, but bare, industrial walls with minimal shelving of single, side-by-side rows of roughly three dozen or so spirits is weak. Oh, did I mention it's grossly overpriced too? (Take a walk around to the other local liquor shops, and tell me you don't see the same bottles of hooch for considerably cheaper.) But, hey, I don't want to kill the place! We need these nicer establishments in our neighborhood. Majestic's bar area is small, but it looks great! Too bad it's been open for two weeks, and nobody knew it. To owner: Hit the streets, dude! Get the word out that your doors are open! The road ahead will be trying. The Merchant Restaurant & Bar is two store fronts away, and they have a great reputation to go along with the hard facts that they have great food and a warm, inviting staff. Best of luck to Majestic Liquors. Prove me wrong!
